АPPLIED NOSTALGIAExibitions of photographs of Belgrade and capitals of EU
The project "Applied Nostalgia" has been designed as a sequence of exhibitions of photographs of two eminent photographers - one from Serbia and one from the EU Presidency country.
The author from Serbia will visit capital of the EU Presidency country and during 7 days will take photos of places, events and people that remind him on his own town. The author of the EU Presidency country will visit Belgrade and take photos of the city through the eyes of a "nostalgic photographer". Both authors will select 20 photographs that best illustrates what is common in two cities and they will be presented to the audience. The exhibitions will be organized and opened at the same time - in Belgrade and in the capital of the EU Presidency country. Both exhibitions will be opened by officials of the two countries.
The project is promoting cultural values of Serbia in Europe, as well as promoting European ideas and values in Serbia. Since 2013 the project has been implemented by the Serbian European Integration Office, Government of Serbia, which is one of the ways to implement Communication Strategy for the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union.View all exhibitons
